I build software and study how brain signals can be used to interact with technology.

I have experience building web products and systems with React, TypeScript, Java, and Python.

I am currently pursuing a master's degree in Engineering focused on brain-computer interfaces.

Closed-loop motor imagery decoding with a low-density EEG–EMG interface

I study how brain signals related to imagined movement can be interpreted. My master's research focuses on motor imagery decoding using low-density EEG, EMG-based control of muscular contamination, and real-time visual feedback.

  • EEG decoding

The system uses eight EEG channels placed over sensorimotor regions. It processes brain activity associated with upper-limb motor imagery tasks.

  • Muscular contamination control

The forearm EMG signal is used to detect unintended muscle activity and reject contaminated segments. It is not an additional classifier input or an independent control channel.

  • Adaptive visual feedback

The classifier output is translated into a visual response during the task. The participant receives this feedback while performing the experiment, which enables closed-loop evaluation of the decoding.
